Two guards linked to cow protection team arrested

The Crime Branch of Faridabad Police has arrested a deputy manager and an assistant manager of the alleged Gao Raksha Dal, for allegedly demanding dancer from a businessman. One of the accused is M-Com, MBA and second B. Tech pass. According to information received from the police, the accused have been identified as Jawahar Colony, resident of Gurudatta and Anil resident of Mountain Colony. Guru Dutt has done BTech, while Anil M-Com is nearby. These two accused accused the businessman for the purpose of arranging training for the cow protection team.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
