FIR against film actor Salman Khan

Film actor Salman Khan is getting increasingly rumored that Salman Deer was not out of the case that the case of filing an FIR against him has come to light. According to information, a case has been registered against Salman in Mithampura police station in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The case is about to hurt the public sentiment in the movie Luvarratri. After the order of the court, a case has been filed against the seven people involved in the film, including Salman, for conspiring to create peace in the police station. However, Salman has changed the name of the movie last week to Love Travelers. Salman has filed a case under sections 295, 295 A, 153, 153 A and 120-B of IPC in which 76 others, including Salman, have been made accursed.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
