Jammu and Kashmir : Two terrorists killed in an encounter with security forces in baramulla

During the search operation in Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces have killed two terrorists, the security forces have got two militants in the encounter in the Baramulla district Tuesday in the encounter between the security forces and the terrorists. According to information, the security forces had received secret information about the hideout of the terrorists in the area, after which Sajpur's Tujjar Sharif swooped down in the house and killed two militants.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
