Samsung launches Galaxy A7

The Samsung company has launched the Galaxy A7 mobile phone, this phone will be a mid-range smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy A7 has a rear camera phone. The company gave the phone a 6-inch full HD display, 24-megapixel front camera. It will be priced at Rs 23900 for a 4 GB RAM of 64 GB. Apart from this, the phone with 6 GB RAM 128 GB variants is priced at Rs 28,990. With the launch offer Samsung is offering cashback of Rs 2 thousand on HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Card.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
