According to the information, a sharp snow storm came on Thursday morning. On the border here on the National Rifle Post in the Savjian sector, a large piece of ice fell on the chowki and two army personnel present here got into the grip. After the storm was reduced, the army launched a search campaign and the excavator of the ice was removed from the two jawans. Both of them were taken to the hospital, where Lance Naik Sapan Mehra was declared dead by doctors and Harpreet Singh was being treated at the hospital.
