3 thousand rupees to be paid 9 thousand rupees

Bata India Limited, a manufacturer of shoes, was costly to sell a Rs 3 a paper bag. The company has to pay a fine of 9 thousand rupees for this. The court also asked the company to provide free bags. In fact, a young man from Chandigarh used to buy shoes from the show room of Bata, for which he demanded 402 rupees. Including the bag's charge.

After this the young man complained to the Chandigarh High Court. On which the court has ruled this decision. The court admitted that it is a symbol of poor service to the company and should be given the paper bag free of cost to the company. The court said that if a company is really worried about the environment then it should be given in paper bag free. Along with this, the court has also asked Bata to give 3 thousand rupees to the customer for mental anguish.
