Senior BJP leader and former union minister Jagat Prakash Nadda has been made the executive president of the party. In the presence of PM Narendra Modi in the meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board on Monday, Nadda got the consent of the name. Let us tell you that Nadda, who was the Health Minister during the first tenure of the Modi government, was not included in the government this time. It was believed since then that they can get bigger responsibility in the party.
After being elected the National Executive President, Nadda was greeted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and senior party leaders. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on this occasion, under the leadership of Amit Shah, BJP won many elections, but since the Prime Minister appointed him as Home Minister, Amit Shah himself said that the responsibility of the party president should be given to someone else . BJP Parliamentary Board elected JP Nadda as the Executive Chairman.
