2 Student from UP School Will Witness Chandrayan 2 Landing with PM Modi

2 Students from UP School will be present at ISRO control room along with PM Modi to witness landing of Chandrayan 2.  Students will be selected on the basis of competition organized at school.

Principal Government Advisor Vijay Raghwan has informed Chief Secretary of UP Aradhana Shukla about government decision to choose 2 students for witnessing landing of Chandrayan 2 along with PM Modi at ISRO

Principal Secretary of Secondary Education has informed officials of various schools through their whats up groups and instructed them to organize quiz for students from 8th to 12th students for selection process.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
