District Congress Committee Executive Chairman Ashok Dangi Bagda resigned from his post on Sunday. He has sent a copy of his resignation to National President Sonia Gandhi, State President and Chief Minister Kamal Nath along with Rahul Gandhi.
It was mentioned in the resignation that if within 10 days Jyotiraditya Scindia is not handed over the command of the state president, then 500 Scindia supporters of the district will resign. During a discussion with reporters at the Circuit House, Dangi said that a conspiracy is being hatched to sideline Mr. Scindia from state politics.
