Chandrayaan-2 reached the third orbit of the moon

Indian Space Research Organization ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 has entered the third orbit of the moon today. Chandrayaan-2 has entered the third orbit of the moon at 9.04 am. After this, on August 30, Chandrayaan-2 will enter Chaithi and on September 1, the Moon will enter the fifth orbit. On September 2, the lander will split from the orbiter and on September 7 will make a 'soft landing' in the South Pole region of the moon.

Earlier on Monday, Chandrayaan 2 sent some pictures of the lunar surface. These pictures were of huge pits called 'Sommerfeld', 'Kirkwood', 'Jackson', 'Maak', 'Korolev', 'Mitra', 'Plasket', 'Rozdestvensky' and 'Hermite'. Let us know that Chandrayaan 2 was launched on 22 July.
