More than 100 trained militants are positioned to enter LOC by Pakistan as quoted by Defence Ministry and army intelligence.  Intelligence has warned that Pakistan authorities are trying to infiltrate afghan and pasthun militants in Kashmir region and more than 100 such militants are present at various launchpads.

Intelligence also confirmed that a group of terrorist may carry out major attacks in metro as well as major cities of the country.

Kashmir which is under heavy security restrictions after Article 370 removal to prevent any untoward situation arising in the valley.  Relaxation in the restrictions is given at small intervals to review the situation.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
