The Hartalika Teej tithi will start at 8:27 am on September 01, 2019 and will end at 4:57 am on September 02, 2019. Hartalika fast will be auspicious time for Pradoshkal Puja from 6.39 am to 8.56 am. The total duration of Pradoshkal Puja will be 2 hours 17 minutes.
As per Hindu mythology, Goddess Parvati observed the fast to have Lord Shiva as her husband. Women do fasting on this day and stay awake whole night and pray for her husband 's long life
