Pakistan has ordered an investigation into the alleged conversion of a Sikh girl identified as Jagjit Kaur to Islam after her family alleged that the 19-year-old had been kidnapped. The 19 year old girl is the daughter of Sikh Priest at Gurudwara Tambu Sahib
In a video released it is clearly seen that the girl is sitting right a boy and saying that she is marrying him without any pressure. However the complaint lodged clearly mentioned that she was abducted and converted to Islam forcibly. The girl's family has asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to intervene in the matter and to protect the girl family and return their daughter back to them. According to the family the girl was forcibly abducted and converted to Islam.
