Chandrayan 2 Enters Last Orbit Of Moon

Chandrayan 2 enters last orbit of moon.  According to ISRO Chandrayan 2 has entered the fifth and final orbit of Moon.  On 7th September it is going to land on moon from south 35 Kms of Vikram Lander.  It has taken 52 seconds for Chandrayan 2 to change its orbit.  On 3rd September it will finish its 1st deorbit, on 2nd of September it will finish its 2nd deorbit so that means on 4th September it will be closest to Vikram Lander.  The lander will no longer be controlled by the orbiter after the separation scheduled to happen between 12:45 pm and 1:45 pm.

Prime Minister office has confirmed that PM Modi will be watching Chandrayan 2 landing live from Bengaluru ISRO base.
