Taking precautions for the security of its users Google has blocked six major apps from its play store as they were supposed to be tracking the locations of its users. These app were discovered by Avast company and were advised by Avast to google to block these apps immediately so as to protect the privacy of users. Keeping this in mind Google has deleted these seven apps from its play store. These app used to track the locations, contacts call logs and text messages and were designed by Russian developers.
Meanwhile these apps were deleted by Google and it is suggested by google to its users to remove them from mobiles and computers as well. These apps were installed more than 130,000 times. These apps require the access to the phone they want to spy on. And these apps had to be installed on the target device. The app asks the person who installed the app to enter their email address and password. The spying app is sent there.
