
Today Mumbaikars woke up with heavy rains lashing the city and orange alert sounded in the city by meteorological department. While Schools, Colleges, Trains and major part of the city is shut Mumbai is facing problem by water logging as well. Continuous rains is still lashing the city adding to the woes of people. Mumbai Suburbs thane and Navi Mumbai has recorded 100 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours by 8:30 AM Wednesday.
Water logging is at its peak at Railway Station and Gandhi Market. Areas like Sion, Parel, Dadar and Byculla also are receiving heavy rainfall till now. The temperature is likely to remain around 29 to 24 degree Celsius.
