Another news is coming from Prime Minister office as this time PM Modi has handed over his valuable gifts to the nation and one can buy them from logging in to http://www.pmmementos.gov.in and can decorate his or her drawing room with these valuable gifts. 

The amount coming from these auctions would be used in nation building tasks.  A total number of 2772 gifts were received by PM Narendra Modi and some are priced less than Rs 200/- and the most valuable is priced at Rs 2.5 Lakh.  And the auction will start at this price set only.  This is not the first time that PM Modi has offered his gifts for the auction.  The Auction will start on September 14 and end on October 3.  

This is one of the most generous step by PM Modi as this was also done by USA President Barak Obama. That time he had auctioned his basketball jersey.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
