President Kovind On A Three Nation Tour

After Pakistan denial to use the air space for India's President Kovind for his flight to Iceland for his three nation tour i.e. Iceland, Switzerland and Slovenia.  This visit is for boosting lateral and Bi Lateral relations with India.  He is on this tour with a team of high level delegation. 

According to external Affairs Ministry President Kovind Schedule of the tour is as follows:-

Iceland from September 9 to September 11
Switzerland till September 14
and will reach Slovenia on September 15

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
