Good news is coming from Jammu and Kashmir where the Indian army has achieved great success. After the killing Zakir Musa, Indian army has also killed Hamid Lalhari, who took charge of Ansar Gajwat-ul-Hind, an al-Qaeda-linked organization.
According to information received from the sources, the security forces were tipped about the hiding of terrorists in a house in Rajpora village of Avantipora area of Pulwama district.
On the basis of this information, security forces laid siege to the entire area and started door-to-door search operation. Seeing the cordon tightening, the terrorists hiding in the area started firing on the security forces.
The security forces asked them to surrender, but they didn't agreed and continued firing on the security forces. The security personnel retaliated their firing. The encounter which lasted till eight o'clock in the night succeeded and the terrorist were killed in the encounter.
This encounter has wiped out the Kashmir unit of Al Qaeda and had brought an end to the era which has been engulfing Kashmir in its terrorist activities.
