BJP MP and former Union Minister Ramkripal Yadav fell into the river on Wednesday night when he was going to the flood-affected area of his parliamentary constituency for a review. The incident is being reported from Dhanrua area of Patna Rural.
Yadav's parliamentary constituency comes under Pataliputra. He has been elected MP from here for the second consecutive time.
Yadav was in a boat made by tying tires on bamboo. Actually, he did so because of the unavailability of boats. He along with his supporters were trying to cross the Dhardha River. The boat overturned shortly after leaving the river bank and all the people including the MP fell into the water.
The people standing on the coast then took the MP out of the water. The MP remained unconscious for a few second after a while he regained consciousness.
