Today is the birthday of Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan. He is celebrating his 77th birthday today. He was born in Allahabad Uttar Pradesh in 1942. He deserve no introduction and he is one of the biggest star of the century.
He has won several awards including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, three National Film Awards and twelve Filmfare Awards. He holds the record time win for the Best Actor Filmfare Award.
He was good in studies as he has done MA twice. He has gone to Sherwood College in Nainital from where he got admission to the Faculty of Arts. Amitabh later went to Kirori Mal College of Delhi University to study where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.
Married to well known actress Jaya Bhaduri. They have two children, Shweta Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan, who is also an actor and is married to Aishwarya Rai.
He has more than 226 movies to his name including blockbusters movies like Coolie, Yarana, Sholay, Mard, Sharabi, Don, Shahenshah, Lawaris list are unlimited. Speaking on the work front he is currently seen as the host in Kaun Banega Crorepati. He will soon be seen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the Gulabo-Sitabo film.
