Congress Manifesto Released For Haryana

Haryana Manifesto by the name of Resolution Paper 2019 has been released today for the assembly elections to be held in Haryana this year.  The Congress has given special attention to the problems faced by women in its manifesto. 

Haryana Congress in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad, State Congress President Kumari Selja and senior party leaders and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda were present during the issuance of the manifesto. Elections on 90 assembly seats of Haryana are to be held on October 21, while the results will be announced on October 24.

The manifesto compromises:-

33 percent reservation for women in government and private jobs

Manifesto promises loan waiver for farmers and poor people

Free travel facility for women in Haryana Roadways buses

50 percent reservation to women in Panchayati Raj Institutions, Municipal Corporations and Municipal Councils

Stipend of Rs 12,000 annually to students of classes 1 to 10 coming from Scheduled Castes and Extremely Backward Classes community and Rs 15 thousand annually for students of classes 11 and 12.
