
Today Congress and NCP alliance has released their manifesto for the Maharashtra Assembly elections on Monday night, promising an allowance of Rs 5,000 per month to unemployed youth and a minimum salary of Rs 21,000 to the workers when they come to power.
Vidhan Sabha elections are to be held in the state on 21 October. The opposition coalition has also promised to abolish the property tax from houses built in 500 square feet when it comes to power.
In rural areas, the alliance has promised to provide at least 200 days of employment to the people under NAREGA. A promise has also been made to build a modern hospital in all the districts.
