Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda filed his nomination on Friday. He filed his nomination from Sampla Kiloi assembly seat. At present, Bhupendra Singh Hooda Garhi Sampala is an MLA from Kiloi. Bhupendra Singh Hooda has been representing Garhi Sampla Kiloi in the Haryana Legislative Assembly since 2000.
According to the reports BJP is keeping a close watch on this seat, which is called the stronghold of former Chief Minister Hooda. Due to this, BJP has made Satish Nandal its candidate in this seat. Because in the 2014 elections, Satish Nandal had contested this seat against Bhupendra Singh Hooda.
Bhupendra Singh Hooda defeated Harichand Hooda in 1982 and Shri Krishna Hooda in 1987. The candidates who defeated both times belonged to the Lok Dal. In the year 1991, after 23 years, Krishnamurthy Hooda unfurled the Congress victory. He defeated Shri Krishna Hooda of the Janata Dal. In 1996, Kiloi once again slipped out of the hands of the Congress, but the party also reached the third position. But in 2000, Bhupendra Singh Hooda won from here for the first time and since then he has kept his feet like Angad's feet in Kiloi.
