According to the reports are coming in from New Delhi Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister have met Union Minister Amit Shah and submitted him a memorandum to the Government of India on the loss due to excess rainfall in Madhya Pradesh.
Kamalnath had went there to congratulate Amit Shah on his birthday and had requested him to release the fund of interim package of Rs 6621.28 Crore for the relief of Madhya Pradesh flood relief areas.
In a meeting that had lasted for over 45 minutes, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister had requested to release the fund for the relief and restoration of damaged and physical infrastructure so as to help 55 Lakh farmers of the state.
According to the reports Madhya Pradesh had received around 46% of excessive rainfall. And twenty districts have received 60% of the average rainfall. Most of the crops have suffered severe losses this year, leading to the downfall of the farmers making the situation worse for them.
