In a major development Sourav Ganguly ex captain of Indian Cricket Team from 2000 to 2005 will be serving as President of Board Of Control Cricket In India until September 2020.
The former Indian Captain will serve a unique double in the history of Indian Cricket of becoming the second captain to become full time president of the governing board due to the cooling off period.
He has been holding posts in Cricket Association of Bengal for the past five years where he currently serves as president and an administrator can only serve six years on the trot.
