25 KG IED Diffused In Kulgam District By Army

Latest reports are coming in from SITU where Indian army have defused a 25 KG Improvised Explosive Device on NH-11 near Khudwani bridge.
According to the latest reports vigilant troops in Kulgam district have sighted 25 kg IED. It was sighted by the troops during clearance of the road in the morning of November 21, 2019.
Following this the whole area was cordoned off and bomb disposal squad team was called in to clear the IED. Taking huge risk of their own life the members of the bomb disposal squad cordoned the area so that no civilian casualties happen and dug out the embedded IED from beneath the soil.
According to the reports the IED was filled in two cylindrical containers of 15 Kg and 10 Kg each filled with explosives and destroyed in SITU.
If IED would have been initiated it would have caused massive loss of life and destruction of property which would have created panic among the people of Kashmir who have been trying hard to bring back normalcy in the valley.
