The person behind the assassination of the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi A. G. Perarivalan will be out of the jail for one month on a parole. He will come out of Jail for one month starting from November 12 to December 13, 2019. Right now he is in Vellore Jail.
This is the second parole for Perarivalan as before he was out on the parole by the request of his mother way back in 2017 for one month which was extended for another one month. This time Perarivalan father health is in a deteriorating state.
Perarivalan along with six others were given life imprisonment for killing Ex Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. It was May 1991 When Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) during an election rally in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu through a suicide bomber. 14 other people were also killed in this attack.
Perarivalan was the mastermind behind the killing of Rajiv Gandhi.
