Former Actress and Miss India Juhi Chawla who reigns in the hearts of viewers with her charming and bubbly acts is celebrating her 51st birthday today. Born on 13 November 1967 in Punjab. Her father S. Chawla was a doctor.
Juhi Chawla did her education from Ludhiana. She received the title of Miss India in 1984. After getting the title of Miss India, Juhi started her film career with the film Sultanate. Dharmendra and Sunny Deol played the lead roles in this film.
But she gained popularity in the year 1988 from the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and was awarded the Filmfare Award for the best promising actress. She also acted in films like Swarg in 1990. Govinda and Rajesh Khanna played the lead roles in the movie. She was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for this film.
In 1993, in the film Hum Hai Rahi Pyar of Mahesh Bhatt. After which she got married in the year 1997. Juhi is married to industrialist Jai Mehta. Juhi Chawla along with Shah Rukh Khan established the Dreams Unlimited banner. Many film were produced under this banner like Chalte Chalte, Dil Hai Hindustani, Ashoka. Juhi had worked in more than 80 films in her career.
