Congress Working Committee To Meet At Sonia Gandhi Residence

 The Congress Working Committee, the highest policy-making body of the Congress, is meeting in which the political, national citizenship register and electoral bonds of Maharashtra are likely to be discussed.  This meeting is being held at the residence of party president Sonia Gandhi.

 According to sources, the meeting is expected to discuss the ongoing efforts to form the government in Maharashtra and the strategy of encircling the government on the issue of electoral bonds and some other issues.  In fact, after the meeting of senior leaders of Congress and Nationalist Congress Party and the green signal from Sonia Gandhi, both parties announced on Wednesday that it will soon form a new government with the Shiv Sena in the state.
