Cyclone Maha all set to hit Gujarat shore. Cyclone Maha is the most dangerous of all the cyclone that is going to hit Indian shore sometime today. Navy and warships have been alerted as Cyclone Maha makes it move to touch Gujarat coast today.
Right now Cyclone Maha currently lies 740 km west-southwest of Diu and 660km west-southwest of Porbandar. This cyclone is considered as one of the severest cyclonic storm.
This storm had started to recurve towards the Gujarat coast from Tuesday. It will make landfall near Diu early on November 7, said India Meteorological Department (IMD) officials.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also briefed the senior officials and had alerted and asked the local administration to be ready for every emergency.
