JNU Fulminates Against Fee Hike

Massive protest is going on right now against fee hike decision of the University.  There have been a massive protest against the fee hike.  

The protest is still going on.  Right now massive protest is going on between students of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and police officials.  Students have boycotted convocation meet of the campus.  Students are demanding affordable fees. 

Students are protesting against the JNU Campus.  Students are holding big banners and protesting against the fee hike which is made in the hostel fee.  As according to the students many students are coming from the rural background who won't be able to afford the fee hike.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
