According to the confirmed sources coming up EPCA has declared health emergency in Delhi and NCR . Amidst in this Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal distributed masks among the school students as the air quality has deteriorated to the worst.
Adding to this Chief Minister has also called Delhi as a 'gas chamber' with the deterioration of the air quality in the Capital.
His gas chamber statement has come up with when his government has bought around five million masks to be distributed to the school children.
At this time the national capital is struggling hard with the rising air pollution with festival of light and the neighboring states adding fumes by burning the fields and its smoke giving chilling and choking air to breathe.
This is the first time that the air quality has dropped to the dangerous and emergency levels for the first time since January this year.
