Pakistan U Turn in Kartarpur Corridor policy. Since starting Pakistan has been on the verdict that the people travelling to Kartarpur Sahib by newly constructed Kartapur Corridor will not be needing any passport while travelling to visit Kartarpur Sahib through this Corridor.
But now reports are coming in that Pakistan two days ahead of the commencement of the inaugural of the Kartarpur Corridor have changed the policy of travelling of the people as of now no person without having a valid passport will be allowed to travel to the holy shrine through this corridor.
Now it has come as a surprise to the Indian Government as well as the people of India who were very much excited to visit the holy city through this corridor.
According to the reports Pakistan Army Spokesperson Major Genereal Ghafoor has said in the press conference that any Sikh pilgrim travelling through this corridor will require a passport to travel to the shrine.
