In view of the ongoing protests of the Citizenship Amendment Act, today the Yogi government has taken a big step before Friday prayers.
The government has issued an alert across Uttar Pradesh. The same central government has also issued a High alert before the Namaz in India.
The Yogi government has stopped internet services in many districts and has deployed heavy police force in sensitive areas.
Not only this, a police team will also keep an eye on social media. In many districts of Uttar Pradesh, internet was switched off from Thursday night, which will be closed till Friday evening. The police administration has appealed to the religious leaders for peace.
During the protests of the Citizenship Amendment Act, the police have arrested more than one thousand people so far. According to police figures in the protests that have taken place so far, 18 people have died. More than 60 policemen have been injured.
