2002 Gujarat Riots: 14 accused gets bail from Supreme Court


14 convicts in the 2002 Gujrat riot case, have been granted bail by the Supreme Court today. The Court asked them to work for social cause.A Bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde grants bail to the convicts in the Sardarpur village case.

More than 1000 people were killed in the riots in 2002,in which majority of them belonged to minority groups.State's Home Minister Pradeep Jadega presented commission's report of more than 1500 pages in the State House saying,there is no proof that any minister of the state was involved in provoking people for the riots.
