Trump Card Of Nirbhaya's Accused

The four convicts of Delhi's Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case will be hanged on February 1 at 7 am.  But before the hanging the lawyer of the accused are leaving no stone unturned to save the convicts and in this addition the lawyers have again approached has thrown the Patiala House Court.  This time, the lawyer for the convicts has stated in an application in the court that the Tihar administration is not providing documents to the convicts for filing the curative petition.  

So that the convicts of Nirbhaya Vinay, Pawan and Akshay can file a curative petition and mercy petition.  The hanging date is fixed on February 1 and the convicts have to file mercy petition and the Tihar administration has not been able to provide papers yet.

 Three of the four convicts of Nirbhaya will file a curative petition in the Supreme Court.  In the petition will highlight about improvement in behavior of the convicts in jail and will demand revoking the death sentence in life imprisonment.  But the counsel for the culprits has accused the Tihar administration of not allowing them to meet their clients well.  

The guilty want a corrective petition.  The lawyer says that the convict Vinay saved a prisoner from suicide.  Vinay has made many beautiful paintings in the jail.  He also joined the blood donation camp.  He was also involved in the jail's yoga camp.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
