Will Scindia Get Any Seat In Congress This Time?

There is a discussion in the political corridors about the post of Madhya Pradesh Congress President and its states that Jyotiraditya Scindia will be the next president of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee.  But Jayotiraditya Scindia's hopes for the presidency have been revived.  Yes, it is not us, but Cabinet Minister Jitu Patwari of Kamal Nath Government, considered close to Rahul Gandhi, has said.  Jitu Patwari says that Jyotiraditya Scindia will not become the state president.  

Chief Minister Kamal Nath is the state president and the next election will be fought under his leadership.  The senior Congress leader says that Jayotiraditya Scindia is the state president and he will be the state president.  Now it remains to be seen who will become the state president and how much truth is there in the talk of Cabinet Minister Jeetu Patwari.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
