DCP Amit Sharma Condition Stable

Fresh reports are coming in from Delhi where the condition of DCP Shahdara Amit Sharma is stated to be normal and out of danger.

As reported earlier DCP was injured during the clashes between two group of people in Gokulpuri yesterday.  He is now stated to be conscious.

According to reports one constable has already lost his life in the incident and DCP was severely injured.  DCP has underwent a surgery late last night.

As reported he is safe and out of danger.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
