Ex BJP MLA Lodged Under Rape Charges

Fresh reports coming in from BJP Maharashtra where an FIR has been lodged against a BJP MLA.

According to confirmed sources former BJP MLA Narendra Mehta has been on a look out for allegedly raping a woman social worker.

It is alleged that the BJP MLA has raped the woman social worker on several occasions.

According to the lady Mehta has been forcibly establishing sexual contacts with her since 1999.  She further stated that whenever she used to oppose him he used to threaten her with dire consequences.

Since the time of the FIR the former MLA has been absconding.  And the search is one to trace him rigoursly.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
