As per confirmed reports coming in fresh gold deposits reservoir has been unearthed in Sonbhadra district by Geological Survey of India and Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Geology and Mining.
According to the Directorate Mining Government has been thinking of putting these deposits on lease.
Accordingly survey is being initiated in this regard and tenders are being approached there with.
