Woman Sub-Inspector Shot Dead, Accused committed suicide

A  woman sub-inspector was killed late on Friday night in Delhi. According to the reports,  PSI Dipanshu killer and then he also committed suicide. Dipanshu's body has been found in a vehicle near Karnal. He committed suicide with the same pistol he used to shoot women inspector.

According to the reports, both Preeti and Dipanshu were batch mates and joined Delhi Police in 2018.  The incident took place on Friday around 9.30 pm. Preeti was posted at Patparganj Industrial Area in East Delhi.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
