Under the Mudra Scheme for Women, every member of the volunteer group will be given a loan of 1 lakh.
A separate scheme will be brought through the 15th Finance Commission to help women belonging to Scheduled and Scheduled Tribes.
Nirmala Sitharaman said that the kitchen for women will be smoke-free through the Ujjwal Yojana and electricity will be provided in houses through Saubhagya scheme.
Women from rural areas will be further empowered through e-chapel or e-net.
Government will start Dhan Laxmi Yojana for women.
