UP has always been a center point, due to the condition of law and order in the state. An incident in Lucknow has again brought the condition of law and order in the state to limelight. State President of the World Hindu Mahasabha Ranjit Bachhan has been shot and killed in the Hajratganj area of Lucknow.
When Ranjit Bachhan went for morning walk, two gangster on bike attacked him and started shooting on him and he died.The incident took place in broad daylight and puts a big question on the law and order in the state. Ranjit's brother was also attacked and is severely injured. He has been admitted in hospital and undergoing treatment.
Ranjit was from Gorakhpur. The accused were successful in escaping after attacking Ranjit and police is searching for them.
