Nifty Has Hit 10% Lower Circuit. Sensex At 29687 Crashing Continuously

Recent reports coming in from share market where sensex has come down by 3090 points and is now trading at 29687. Corona scare has brought down share market drastically down.

The market has hit its lower circuit as Nifty has gone down to 9000 mark  and was trading at 8624 and has hit 10% lower circuit. The market has freezed for 45 minutes.

This is the biggest fall of share market after 2008 when world economy was hit due to economic recession.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
