US Embassy Cancelled All Visa Appointments In India

According to reports coming in USA Embassy and consultants in India have taken a major decision in US mission India Post in view of Corona virus pandemic.

According to reports US embassy has cancelled all visas, e-visas immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments from March 16 2020 onwards will stand cancelled.

This decision of US embassy have been taken in view of the precautions being taken by US in view of the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

As reported US President Donald Trump has declared emergency in USA to fight Corona virus.

By declaring emergency in USA 50 million dollar fund could be given to state for the medical upliftment of the country

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
