ED Conducted Raids At Premises Of Jaya Patel

Enforcement Directorate (ED)  today has conducted rate at the premises of Jaya Patel.

As per reports coming in ED has found some valuable data and documents with regard to the foreign properties in purchased by Jaya Patel.

As per foreign exchange Act 1999 the properties are worth ₹ 32.38 Crores has been illegally acquired.

As per reports the search has been conducted at various offices and other residential premise of Jaya Patel of Mumbai and one of her associate.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
