Orders Passed For Stranded Labourers In States And Union Territories

Another order has been passed by Ministry of Home affairs and will be operative from today.

This order issues standard operating system for the movement of standard labour who have been living within the state or union territory.

The order states that there will be no movement of labour outside the states or union territories from where they are currently located.

According to the order the labours who are currently residing in the temporary shelter homes made by the government should be screened off their skills and a mapping to be done and works should be allotted to them according to their skills by the government where they are residing.

The labours who wish to travel to the respective location maybe screen properly and should be drop by the buses with proper social distancing rules followed and the buses be sanitize properly so that Covit 19 infection may not spread.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
