PM Modi Did Video Conferencing With Sarpanches Of Various Villages

Prime minister Narendra Modi has interacted with sarpanch across the country via video conferencing on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Divas, Minister of Panchayati Raj, Narendra Singh Tomar also present in that video conference.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates two programs that is e-gramswaraj portal and  mobile application on account of Panchayati Raj diwas.  

PM Modi has also added that the villages in India have given the Mantra of do Gaj duri to define social distancing in simple terms to fight coronavirus pandemic.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
