30 Feet Breach In Karnal Canal Leaves Villagers In Flood Like Situation

Villagers in Karnal yesterday woke up with the flood like situation and found themselves in 3-3 feet water in their houses.

Around 12,000 villagers in Ranwar village yesterday I woke up with the flood like situation when they found themselves in 3-3 feet water logged in their houses.

It took irrigation department and the administration 10 hours of rigourous effort to plug 30 foot breach in the Karnal canal.  Administration took a stock of the situation.

Initiation by the administration is in full swing in making full effort to plug out water from the village.

All assistance has been given to the villages from food to medical supplies.  An all the effort is on the people living in low lying areas and strengthen the canal to carve future situations like this.
